Okay, you know that you got skills when it comes to rhyming. You got everything from flow, punch lines, insane delivery and your swags on mars. which means that you are set to make an official mixtape.

In order to have a well respected mixtape, you have to have some hot instrumentals on it. You can have all the talent in the world, but if you have a terrible instrumental selection then you will just be labeled as an common emcee. Nowadays you have to do more than just come out with an CD; you have to demonstrate to the hip hop population that you are hot in order to get loyal fans. Mixtapes are kind of like try outs, if you are good and very noticeable then you will make the cut, but if not try again next year. In order to attain success, you have to catch your fans attention through your beats.

To be 100% truthful with you, when it comes to hip hop music, your beat is the foundation of the track. Depending on how hot the beat is will determine whether you make it or break it. Always rememeber that you have to make sure the root of your song has a healthy beat which has a positiveresult on your lyircs and hook.

What you need to do is search for instrumental makers who have instrumentals that match your swag. You also have to remember that the quality of the beat is professional becuase the typical rap fan only listens to the first 10 seconds of the track to decide whether it's hot or not.

The next question that you have to ask yourself is, “will this beat match my flow and lyrics?” Selecting the appropriate beat is like finding the right piece of a puzzle it may take some time but once you find the right part, the picture is that much clearer. As an aspiring artist, it is your task to make certain that you know what you need in order to make a great song.

A talented pop artist will always think outside the box and provide his fans with uniqueness. whenever you make a track, always put your fans first, for example, always ask yourself "how will your audience react if you were to perform it live?" or "if I was a fan, how would I react to it?" Again you are the professional so you have to make that decision are you offering to your fans.Your music is an extension of yourself and your fans are the physical reaction of your music. Your mixtape/demo is a message to your fans, A&R’s, Managers and Record Labels telling them:
· Who you are
· The potential of you and your music
· Who your target audience is
· And how hungry you are to make it in the industry

Remeber that is starts with your beats and your success in the music industry is determined by your instrumental selection. if you can spot whats hot, you will always be on top.
Okay so let’s fast forwards a little bit, you have your beats and you’re ready to make some tracks. The solution to making good music is to NEVER rush it. It is extremely crucial to take your time and make sure that every bar in your song is well thought out. Think of your mixtape/demo as growing a business, you will never make a million dollars by rushing your business to launch. If you take your time and make sure you have a well constructed business plan, then over time your business will see more success.

Everyone can pick the right instrumental, but it’s totally up to you, to make that song a hit. So take your time, get creative and have fun.
